The PhD Project: A Model for Success Now celebrating its 25th Anniversary, The PhD Project encourages African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans and Native Americans to become business school professors, serving as role models and mentors to minority students, while dispelling stereotypes for all business students! Since 1994, the number of minority business faculty has quintupled from 294 to over 1,490 as a result of this systemic approach. Rutgers Business School has more PhD Project members than any other majority-serving institution. How has The PhD Project helped Rutgers to achieve this? Collaboration is critical! Hear from the Rutgers Provost, Dean, Doctoral Program Director and Faculty. The Director of Advancement at The PhD Project will also share how MAACBA Schools can adapt the Rutgers success stories to inform their own potential campus initiatives to increase diversity in their faculty, administration and student body, while also ensuring and enhancing student success.
