AACSB Updates Join AACSB senior leadership to gain more insights on the recently affirmed 2020 Guiding Principles and Standards for Business Accreditation. The new standards emphasize a principles-based and outcomes-focused approach, relevance for business schools, and the changing landscape of student demographics. Innovation in Teaching Award Presentation The MAACBA Innovation in Teaching Award Review Committee is pleased to announce Dr. Donald Townsend of Saint Joseph’s University has been selected as this year’s awardee. Dr. Townsend’s innovation entitled “The Perfect Pitch – 6 Steps in Today’s Selling Environment” engaged students in a real-world sales and marketing campaign that included having the students directly cold-calling potential customers. The model pioneered by Dr. Townsend has now been adopted for implementation by other institutions. Congratulations to Dr. Townsend and Saint Joseph’s University!
